Appearancematerials.com Products Inc. strives to ensure that our customers receive only the highest quality service and merchandise. However, we realize that you may wish to return an item to us. Please read the return policy below and follow the instructions given. If you should have any questions, please call or email us and we will have a customer service representative assist you.
What can be returned?
Products purchased on this website can be returned with the following exception:
Chemicals that are packaged in 30 or 55 gallon drums and products that have been sent via freight carrier are not eligible for this return process. If you have a concern about a product that is not covered under this return policy, please call or email our customer service department at CustomerService@appearancematerials.com and we will make every effort to resolve the issue.
When can it be returned?
Customers have 14 days from the date of delivery (as recorded by FedEx or other carrier) to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Appearancematerials.com Products, Inc. must receive the returned product within 10 business days from the date the RMA is issued.
How will the refund be issued?
Refunds will be issued via the same method of payment used to purchase the product. (i.e., a credit will be issued to the credit card that was used to pay for the product.) Refunds will be for the purchase price of the product less any applicable restocking fees. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Return Shipping Charges. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping to return the product.
When will a restocking fee be charged?
A 15% restocking fee will be charged for returns of any non-defective product that has been used or opened. Restocking fees will NOT be charged if we incorrectly sent an item or if the product is defective. Appearancematerials.com Products, Inc. retains the right to determine if a product is defective based on internal quality control processes as Appearancematerials.com Products, Inc. cannot control the consumer's use or application of the product.
If returning a defective or incorrect item, please contact our customer service department directly. Open items returned through the RMA page will be assessed a restocking fee.
How do I return the product?
For non-defective small package products (less than 10 gallon container)
* Request an RMA
o To obtain the required RMA Number, call customer assistance at .
o No returns will be accepted without an RMA.
* Pack your product(s):
o Pack all items to be returned in a sturdy shipping carton (you may use the original shipping carton if you wish.) Make sure the product is packaged to avoid moving around in the carton.
o Make sure all opened products are sealed to prevent leakage. Appearancematerials.com Products cannot be responsible for damage incurred during return shipping.
o Enclose a copy of your packing slip and write the RMA # on it. Keep the original receipt for your records. Your return must be received within 10 days from the date the RMA # is issued.

o We suggest you ship by an insurable shipping method that allows package tracking, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. as Appearancematerials.com Products, Inc. cannot be responsible for loss or damages during shipping. Return shipping must be paid by the customer.
